Bell launches Business Voice Dialing service
Improve accessibility and productivity with this robust voice recognition feature
On May 31, 2011, Bell launched a new calling feature – Business Voice Dialing – for customers subscribed to Basic Business Line.
How it works
Business Voice Dialing is a network-based calling feature that enables customers to place phone calls by speaking the name or phone number of the desired party into the telephone.
Once the feature is enabled, voice dialing access is automatic. The customer just needs to pick up the phone and wait six seconds to begin making voice commands. Customers can also access voice dialing immediately by dialing *44 or # following the dial tone.
With the Business Voice Dialing feature, customers can create and manage a contact list verbally over the phone or online using the web portal. The contact list can store up to 1,000 contacts, with up to five phone numbers for each contact.
Benefits
- Improve productivity and reduce dialing errors
- Improve accessibility for people with vision and dexterity disabilities
